Rooted Resilience
Resilient living, grounded healing
Like the roots of a tree, our hidden bonds quietly shape who we are. At Rooted Resilience, I meet you with genuine attention and authentic connection, so you can feel seen, explore your own story, and create space for lightness, clarity, and flow.

About Me.
After many years of working in the field, I finally found the courage to start my own practice. Over time, I have not only witnessed but also deeply felt what makes the real difference in healing and growth — and in what allows a therapeutic relationship to truly foster change: genuine attention, trust, and authentic human connection.
Over time, two guiding principles have become the heart of my practice.
First, I have a deep trust in human resilience. I see resilience not as something fixed, but as a capacity we can strengthen and practice—making life’s challenges feel lighter and more manageable.
Second, I believe in the power of the systemic field. When we take our own place in the family system, and allow others to take theirs, we tap into a natural force that brings more ease, clarity, and movement into life.
From these beliefs, Rooted Resilience was born.
This work is also deeply personal to me. Again and again, I’ve experienced how moments of true connection and systemic insight can open doors that once seemed closed. It’s what inspires me to walk alongside others with openness, authenticity, and trust in what unfolds.
I recognize that the past has its place, and when we allow it to be seen, it often brings insight and relief. Still, my focus is not on endlessly revisiting it, but on what reveals itself here and now. By paying attention to the present, hidden dynamics often come into view naturally—making space for new choices and a lighter way of living.
In my work with both adolescents and adults, I bring genuine attention and authentic connection, supported by systemic practices. What matters to me most is that you feel truly seen and connected, while also reconnecting with your own strength and discovering ways of living that feel lighter and more aligned.

Currently, I am further deepening my knowledge at the Bert Hellinger Institute, where I am being trained in systemic constellations. This work allows me to integrate family constellations into my practice, bringing together scientific grounding and systemic wisdom.
As part of my background, I followed a basic training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), giving me solid grounding in evidence-based methods.
I completed a Master’s in Orthopedagogy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s Faculty of Psychology and Education, an experience that continues to shape the way I accompany children, adolescents, and families today.

My studies started with a Bachelor’s in Orthopedagogy at Utrecht University, where I specialized in youth development, family systems, and understanding behavioral problems
For Adults.
Find your way toward a lighter life.
Life brings moments when we feel stuck, weighed down, or unable to move forward as we would like. These moments can show up in relationships, in work, parenting, or simply in how we feel about ourselves. Even when we try to do things differently, something underneath seems to repeat, and it can feel as though we are carrying more than just our own story.
In my approach, systemic work is at the heart. At the same time, I draw on my broader background in the behavioral sciences, allowing me to integrate systemic insights with therapeutic understanding.
Together, we look at the dynamics that may be shaping your life — often rooted in the family system or in patterns that reach beyond your own story. When we can see these clearly, it becomes possible to distinguish what truly belongs to us and what no longer needs to be carried, opening the way to more freedom and movement.
I recognize that the past plays a role in how we feel and behave today. It has shaped the ways we once learned to cope — strategies that may have served us then, but no longer support us now.
In my work, I hold space for these past experiences, while focusing on how their effects show up in present feelings, behaviors, and patterns. By bringing these into awareness, we create the possibility for new movement and choices that feel more aligned with life today.
In each session, I bring genuine attention and authentic connection, choosing from the full range of tools I carry with me. Sometimes that means working systemically, sometimes drawing on therapeutic understanding, and often a combination of both. This work unfolds in direct, in-person contact, where being together in the same space creates the grounded presence and attunement that this process requires.
What matters most is that you feel truly seen, while reconnecting with your own strength and opening space for new perspectives and ways of living.

A journey together
Embark on a 7-session journey, each lasting 90 minutes, at a pace that suits you. These sessions are designed to support your personal growth and help you navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. After the third session, we take a moment together to reflect on your progress and ensure we’re moving in the direction that feels right for you.
The Deep Dive
A single, in-depth session designed to bring clarity and lightness to where you are right now.
We begin with a brief intake to understand your theme or question.
During this 2-hour session, we work primarily with systemic constellations — not to dig into the past, but to make visible what is unconsciously influencing the present. By working in the systemic field, we address patterns at their roots, so new movement and balance can arise here and now.
One week later, we reconnect for a follow-up to reflect on what has shifted, what has landed, and what wants to unfold next.
Available from november 2026
For Adolescents and Families.
Helping young people feel seen, understood, and supported.
Adolescence is a time of growth, change, and sometimes struggle.
For young people, emotions can feel overwhelming, and for parents it can be hard to know how best to support them.
Some families are navigating this while living abroad, which can add extra layers — adjusting to a new culture, language, or school system often makes things more complex.
In my work with adolescents, I focus on building a genuine connection, so they feel truly seen and understood. From that place of trust, we explore what lies beneath the surface of their feelings or behaviors, and discover new ways of coping and moving forward.
My background in psychology and systemic work allows me to integrate both practical tools and a broader family perspective.
I also believe that real and lasting change can only happen when parents are involved. That is why parent and family sessions are a standard part of my approach. This ensures that what the adolescent learns is anchored in the family environment, creating support, continuity, and space for growth on all sides.
Because every family and every question is unique, I treat this work as tailor-made. During the intake, we look at which form and rhythm best fit your family. Packages are always shaped around your needs, with a combination of adolescent, parent, and family sessions at the core.
Investing in yourself is the most valuable step you can take.
Each journey is unique, and so are the ways we can work together. My approach combines systemic constellations, psychological insights, and practical tools — always tailored to what you need most in the moment.
